The practical IBD guides I wrote now have a clear home at Mirae. They answer recognisable questions, give someone something useful to do, and make clear where general information ends and medical advice begins. Their medical content is clinically reviewed and maintained there.
IBD.wtf does not need a second version of the same library in a louder voice. Two public copies would mean two places to update and two opportunities for important information to drift apart.
Some thoughts are smaller. Some are personal, unfinished, or still changing. Forcing them into a guide can make an honest observation sound like a universal answer. I do not want to do that.
What belongs here
Notes are a place for what I notice while living with IBD, what I remember when I revisit my own history, and the tension of building things intended to help patients while also being one. They may begin with a question rather than finish with an answer.
They will still be careful about the difference between fact and experience. If I write about what happened to me, that is what happened to me. It is not a treatment recommendation and it does not predict what will happen to someone else.
More often, without a content treadmill
I do want to write here more often. I do not want to publish because a calendar says the site has gone quiet. IBD already creates enough unwanted routine without turning writing about it into another obligation.
There will be a note when there is something worth adding. If a subject grows into practical advice that needs proper sourcing and maintenance, I will move the useful parts into a guide at Mirae.
The guide can carry the answer. This space can carry the person who is still working it out.
